As an Account Director, you'll be encouraged to challenge the norm and drive the client and team to innovate in the world of social and connected platforms. You are the person everyone wants in the room. You will work closely with the rest of the agency to help deliver creative and effective award-winning work for some of biggest brands globally.
What you'll get up to
Oversee creative development from briefing through to concept delivery for a number of accounts.
Attend regular team and client meetings with a key understanding of the asks involved and an idea of the solutions required.
Effectively manage projects to tight deadlines, working with the strategic, creative, production and data teams.
Build and nurture relationships with both your team and clients, being a key client contact on a daily basis.
Facilitate and run new business opportunities from RFP through to pitches.
Play an active role in crafting the future of your team, from their individual development plans to keeping them motivated and inspired.
Seek out opportunities to grow the scope of your accounts, while maintaining control of the day-to-day budgets.
Build informed points of view on competitor and category work which shapes output
What you need
Leadership skills - ability to excite and motivate your client and your team to create award-winning effective work
Strong social media understanding - demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of platforms and distribution of content
People management skills – experience of developing and leading a team is essential
Strong social skills - great at building senior client relationships
Creative mindset - to deliver high quality work in all channels
Experience of content production from start to finish having worked on exciting campaigns that caught the industry's attention
Ambitious spirit to seek out new opportunities within existing and new areas of the business
Strategic thinking and forward planning of client work
Confident presenter and communicator
Experience of running an account's financials
Experience of working with influencers and partners
